When We Were Young is a Friendship Level 4 quest for Caleri in Palia. Elouisa gives you this quest, as she informs you that her sister is not happy and needs your help in cheering her up. How to Complete the When We Were Young Quest in Palia

Starting the quest

Starting the When We Were Young quest will require the player to reach Friendship Level 4 with Caleri and complete the Knowledge Sleuth quest. Upon reaching Level 4 and completing the prerequisite quest, Elouisa will visit you on your housing plot area. Speak with Elouisa to initiate the When We Were Young quest for Caleri.

Gather the materials for Elouia

Elouisa will tell you that her sister has become deeply unhappy. She is worried about her sister and suggests making a journal for her. She has a perfect journal design in her mind, but needs your help with the materials. After speaking with Elouisa, the quest will update, requiring you to gather materials for her. Here are all the materials that you need to gather.

5x Flow-Infused Wood: Cut the Flow-Infused Trees using the Fine Axe or a higher-tier Axe. The Flow-Infused Trees spawn throughout the Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay.
2x Leather: Craft it at the Fabric Loom using 1x Sernuk Hide. Alternatively, you can purchase the Leather from the Material Store for 70 Gold each.
5x Silk: Craft it at the Fabric Loom using 5x Silk Thread. Alternatively, you can purchase Silk from the Material Store for 900 Gold each.
1x Midnight Paddlefish: It is a rare fish that spawns at night (9 PM to 3 AM) in Kilima Lake alongside the southern and western shores. Moreover, you must use the Glow Worm bait to catch the Midnight Paddlefish.

Upon gathering all of the required materials, return to Elouisa. Speak with her to give her all the materials.

Deliver the Journal to Caleri

After giving the materials to Elouisa, she will make a journal from them. She will tell you to deliver the journal to Caleri. Open the map to locate Caleri and make your way to her location. Upon finding Caleri, speak with her to give her the Journal. Go through the dialogues, and the When We Were Young quest will conclude.
