Windrose how to skip the night and pass time

Skipping the night or passing the time in general can be confusing in Windrose, as there is no clock, so the exact period remains unclear. However, it does not mean that passing the time is useless. As you can find zombies and other creatures roaming in the night, you might want to skip ahead to focus on the main objective easily. Alternatively, you might be in need of more Undead Essence, so you can skip ahead to the night to farm undead creatures. Either way, it is essential to know how to pass the time in Windrose. In this guide, we will tell you how to skip the night and pass time in Windrose.

How to Skip the Night and Pass Time in Windrose

To skip the night or pass the time in Windrose, you must sleep on the bed. Sleeping is the only way to pass the time. Every time you use the bed, it fast-forwards the time, which seems like 4-6 hours. However, the skip period is still unclear, as there is no clock in the game.

Now, to sleep in Windrose, you need two things: a bed and a roof over the bed. For the bed, you can use the Simple Bed under the “Storage and Beds” category of the Building Panel. It is one of the early recipes you unlock in Windrose. Crafting a Simple Bed requires 5x Plant Fiber and 3x Wood. For the roof, you can use the Roof (Leaves). Place the Roof (Leaves) close to the bed, and it will work as a roof for the bed. However, if you want something more authentic, then you can use the Hut Frame under the “Prebuilt Structures” category of the Building Panel. Crafting a Hut Frame requires 56x Plant Fiber.

After placing down a roof and a bed underneath the roof, you are ready to sleep and skip time. Go over to the bed and press Q to use it. Your character will lie on the bed, and the time will fast-forward. To skip the night, sleep through all night until the sun comes up. There is no sleeping limit in Windrose, so you can use the bed as many times as you want.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
