Palia: How to Get and Use Chum Bucket

The Sunkissed Summer: Bahari Bliss update brings a lot of new content and items to Palia. One of the new items in the game is the Chum Bucket, a lure item that helps with hosting fishing across the Palian World. Players can now fish together as one and catch only Star-Quality fish. This new item is the perfect way of acquiring high-rarity fish. In this guide, we will tell you how to get and use the Chum Bucket in Palia.

How to Get the Chum Bucket in Palia

Chum Bucket is a consumable item of Epic rarity in Palia. To get the Chum Bucket, you have to craft it at a worktable. However, before you can craft it, you need to get its recipe.

Where to Get the Chum Bucket Recipe

To get the crafting recipe for the Chum Bucket, you need to go to the Amber Echo Store in Royal Highlands, located at the Central Stables. The Amber Echo Store becomes available after completing Chapter 3 of the main story in Palia. If you don’t have access to the Amber Echo Store, then you must progress through the main story and complete it.

Once you have access to the Amber Echo store, interact with it. Here, you will be able to buy the recipe for the Chum Bucket, which will cost you 5,000 Amber Echo. Craft the Chum Bucket at the Worktable

After acquiring the Chum Bucket recipe, you can craft it at the worktable using the following materials.

• 1x Gold Bar: Craft it at a smelter.
• 500 Amber Echo: Gather it by foraging, hunting, fishing, and bug catching in Royal Highlands.
• 50 Worm: Purchase from the General Store.

How to Use the Chum Bucket in Palia

Using the Chum Bucket is similar to other lures in the game. Place the Chum Bucket in your inventory and go over to the fishing spot where you want to fish. Once there, select the Chum Bucket from the inventory and place it down. Upon placing it down, a large green circle will appear around its location. This is the area of effect, where any fish you or any other player catch will come out as a Star-Quality. The effect of Chum Bucket stays for 5 minutes. Once the time runs out, the bucket disappears.
