Palia: Clothing Dye System Explained

The Color and Dye system in Palia allows the players to customize their characters’ makeup colors, hair colors, and outfit colors. The clothing dye option was recently added with the Royal Highlands Expansion update. Although it sounds simple enough and similar to the regular makeup and hair color customization, it is not. The Clothing Dye system in Palia is a bit different than the other two, and we will explain everything you need to know about it.

Clothing Dye System in Palia

The Clothing Dye System allows the player to customize the selected outfits in the game. It is similar to customizing the makeup and hair color of the character, but without the individual colors. There is no option for purchasing the individual colors within each palette for the outfits, like there is for the makeup and hair color customization. An outfit can only be customized by the whole Palette. The system itself will choose the color scheme and dye the outfit properly. Moreover, the palette design of each outfit is unique from the others. It means that using a palette on one outfit will give you a different result from using the same palette on another outfit.

What are Brands and Palettes

The Brands are the main types of designs that are available for customization. Each brand includes numerous Palettes (color designs), and each palette has up to 25 colors (only for makeup and hair color system). The clothing dye does not have colors; it only has palettes. The brands are on the top bar, each one has a unique symbol. As you select a brand, it will show you all the available palettes inside it. You can select the palettes to view how the dye would look on the selected outfit. Currently, there are 14 Brands available in Palia.

NOTE: Purchasing a Palette unlocks all of the colors inside. If you purchase a Palette for the clothing, you can use the same Palette for makeup and Hair Color customization.

How to Get Tailor Tickets in Palia

Tailor Ticket is the main currency used for purchasing the Palettes and individual colors within a palette in the dye system in Palia. Each Palette costs up to 25 Tailor Tickets, and an individual color costs 1 Tailor Ticket. However, as you cannot use individual colors for the outfit dye, you have to purchase the whole Palette. Players can earn Tailor Tickets in the following ways.

• Complete the Daily Quests.
• Purchase from the Premium Store.

Completing a daily quest in Palia will reward a player with 3 Tailor Tickets. There are 2 daily quests available per day, allowing players to earn 6 Tailor Tickets daily. Moreover, a player can only have up to 500 Tailor Tickets at a time. It is best to spend the Tailor Tickets to purchase new Palettes to unlock new designs for the outfits.
