Dave the Diver In the Jungle: Jungle Chef Quest Guide

Jungle Chef is the first main mission, which takes place in Utara Village. After confirming to come to the village at the end of the To A New Place quest, a cutscene will start. As the cutscene ends, Dave and his crew will reach the village. During this quest, the crew will meet the Village Chief and Muna, who is the doctor’s colleague. As the Village Chief welcomes Dave and his crew, he will offer food to Bancho. However, Bancho will not like the food and say that he can make better food. Jungle Chef Quest Walkthrough – Dave the Diver: In the Jungle

The Jungle Chef quest begins automatically upon reaching Utara Village and going through the prologue cutscene and dialogue options. At the end of the prologue, Muna will give you the Jungle Gun, a new exclusive weapon that you can use to hunt fish in the lake.

Obtain 1 Tilapia Meat

Head south from Bancho, and you will meet the village chief. He will show you the home, where you will be staying, and the pier from where you can dive into the lake. After speaking with the village chief, head to the pier and dive into the lake.

Swim to the right and go to the center until Dave recognizes a couple of Tilapia. It is a medium-sized silver fish. Equip one of your tools and shoot at the tilapia to catch it. It does not matter which tool you use to catch Tilapia. After collecting tilapia, swim up to return to the Village.

Talk to Bancho

Now, head to Bancho sitting at the desk and speak with him. Tell him about tilapia, and he will ask you to find some herbs. Fortunately, the lady who sells herbs and spices will come to you. Speak with Lathi and go through the dialogues to get Calamansi and Lemongrass.

Once done, you are ready to serve Bancho’s meal to the village chief. Wait for the Village Chief to come to the place and speak with him. Let Bancho prepare the meal for the chief and then deliver the meal to him. The village chief will love the dish and ask Bancho to continue feeding the people. This starts the Bancho Grill at Utara Village.

Now, as the night ends, you will return to Dave’s shack. Interact with the bed to end the day, and the quest will conclude.
