In this guide, we will walk you through the Chapter 4: A Tail Tale Quest for Eeyore in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Chapter 4: A Tail Tale is a main story quest for the Honeyglow Woods expansion in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is the first quest for Eeyore, who players will find in the Gloommeadow biome. This quest begins automatically after completing the Interlude: The Misplaced Honey quest for Winnie the Pooh. During this quest, players have to find the missing tail of Eeyore in the Gloommeadow biome. In this guide, we will walk you through the Chapter 4: A Tail Tale quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete Chapter 4: A Tail Tale Quest
As the quest begins, head into the Gloommeadow biome and go to the north side of the biome to find Eeyore. Speak with Eeyore to learn that his tail is missing. Go over to the dried-up riverbed to look for Eeyore’s tail, but there will be debris blocking the river. Speak with Eeyore about the pile of debris.
Gather materials to craft a home for the hedgehogs
To craft a home for the hedgehogs, you must gather the following materials.
- 6x Hardwood: Spawn near the trees in Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Frosted Heights biomes.
- 5x Juniper Berry: Harvest from the Juniper Berry bushes in the Gloommeadow biome.
- 2x White & Pink Foxglove: Spawn on the ground in the Drowsybloom Acre biome.
- 6x Soft Limestone: Drops from the mining nodes in the Drowsybloom Acre biome.
After getting all of the materials, go over to the crafting station to craft the Hedgehog Companion Home. Once done, place the Hedgehog Companion Home in the Gloommeadow biome.
Feed a Hedgehog and Remove the Debris

After placing a home for the hedgehogs, look for a hedgehog in the Gloommeadow biome. The Hedgehog’s behavior is similar to Sea Turtles. They will hide as they see you approaching. Once they hide, stand still until they reappear, and then you can approach them to feed. Their favorite food is Golden Honey, and they like almost every fruit. For this objective, you can feed the hedgehog a Sweet Chestnut or a Juniper Berry.
After feeding a hedgehog, speak with Eeyore. Go to the pile of debris and use the Royal Pickaxe to break the debris. Once done, speak with Eeyore to tell him about the items you see in the river.
Fish out the items and show Eeyore the tails
Go over to the river and fish out the two items, including Cuckoo Clock Tail and Steel Spring Tail. Now, go to Eeyore and give him the Cuckoo Clock Tail. Take a picture of Eeyore with the Cuckoo Clock Tail. Once done, give the Steel Spring Tail to Eeyore, and then take a picture of him with the Steel Spring Tail.
Dig up the object that Winnie the Pooh found
After showing the picture to Eeyore, speak with Winnie the Pooh about Eeyore’s tail situation. He will mention that he might have found his tail. Follow Winnie the Pooh to the location and dig up the object. Pick up the Umbrella Tail and give it to Eeyore. Take a picture of Eeyore with the Umbrella Tail.
Play Pooh Sticks

Follow Winnie the Pooh to the bridge and then interact with it to play Pooh Sticks. The game will give you an overview of how to play Pooh Sticks. You need to select an item to float in the river against the villagers. Whoever’s item reaches the finish line first wins. A stick is the lightest item, and it floats the fastest, but it slows down in the whirlpools. After playing a game of Pooh Sticks, Eeyore’s original tail will pop up in the river.
Fish out Eeyore’s Tail from the river and then bring it to him. Go through the dialogue, and the quest will conclude. Moreover, it will initiate the “Chapter 5: The Big Red Monster” quest.
