How to Get Crocodile Leather in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced

There are a couple of ways to get your hands on Crocodile Leather in AC Black Flag Resynced. These methods include hunting crocodiles or purchasing the Crocodile Leather from the General Store. The latter method involves unlocking the Manor hideout and upgrading the General Store to Tier 1. After the upgrade, all General Stores across the Caribbean Sea will sell you Crocodile Leather for 3 Bones.

Now, the primary method includes finding and hunting the Crocodiles for Crocodile Leather. Crocodiles are not abundant, so you only find a few of them at select locations. The best location to find and hunt Crocodiles is Nassau, the first main hub in the game. You will arrive at this location early in the game, and this island has numerous wild animals, including crocodiles. To find crocodiles in Nassau, head to the west side of the island to come across a lake beside the English Camp. This lake will have up to two crocodiles swimming in it.

Use the Eagle Vision to see and mark the crocodiles so you can track them easily. Crocodiles are aggressive creatures, so they will rush to attack as soon as you step into the water. Be prepared to dodge or deflect the attack to advance with a strike. Use the charged attacks to kill the crocodile efficiently. Once done, don’t forget to skin the crocodile to collect the crocodile leather.

TIP: Crocodiles respawn at the lake in Nassau, so you can hunt them again after some time.

The primary use of Crocodile Leather is to upgrade the Sleep Dart, requiring 2x Crocodile Leather. In addition to this, purchasing the Matched Golden Swords from the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua requires 12x Crocodile Leather. Other than that, you can sell Crocodile Leather for Reales (money).
