Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced: How to Find Blackbeard’s Treasure
Discover how to find Blackbeard’s Treasure in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, including the location and method to reach the chest.
Progressing more than halfway through the main story in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, precisely after the “Do Not Go Gently,” main mission, you will get the Blackbeard Treasure Map. It is during Sequence 8 of the main story, and you can view the treasure map in the Codex tab. However, the marked locations on the map do not reveal much, as no coordinates are mentioned. Moreover, finding Blackbeard’s Treasure requires you to find an underground cave, get past enemies, and blow up hidden walls. In this guide, we will explain how to find Blackbeard’s Treasure in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
How to Find Blackbeard’s Treasure in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced

Although you can find other buried treasures by pinpointing the locations, finding Blackbeard’s Treasure is part of the “Blackbeard’s Treasure” side quest. This side quest unlocks right after you get the treasure map. Open the quest log and track the Blackbeard’s Treasure quest to make it easier to find the treasure. Once done, open the codex and view the Blackbeard’s Treasure Map. The map directs you to Anotto Bay, an enclave north of Kingston. There is a chance that you might already have discovered this location. If not, then there will be a “?” symbol on the location on the map. The exact coordinates for Anotto Bay are (590, 245).
Head to Anotto Bay

You can fast travel to Anotto Bay once you have discovered this location. If not, then set sail to Anotto Bay, but be ready for a naval battle, as there will be a few enemy ships near the docking point. Sink all of the ships and then dock the Jackdaw to explore the location. Take out the enemies and read the letter to get a hint for an underground entrance.
Find the Underground Entrance

The letter will mention the diving bell, which is right across. Dive into the water and go over to the bell. Dive down and keep going down until you see a path close to a jellyfish. Swim through the underground path and be ready to avoid the shark attack. Keep on swimming along the path and use the air pockets to replenish oxygen. Eventually, you will reach a dry chamber with a single enemy in it. Assassinate the enemy and go ahead to swim a bit more and find a bigger dry chamber.
Find Blackbeard’s Treasure

Once you are in the bigger dry chamber, take out the enemies and go towards the blocked path at the end. You need to open this path by shooting the explosive barrel near it. There will be a few explosive barrels that you can carry and place next to the blocked path. You only need 1 barrel, so after placing one, shoot it to open the path.

Continue ahead to enter a large cave chamber. Defeat all the enemies, and then pick up an explosive barrel and bring it to the wall behind the waterfall. Shoot the explosive barrel and enter inside to find Blackbeard’s Treasure. This will trigger a cutscene.
After the cutscene, return to your Jackdaw and fast travel to Great Inagua. Head to the marked location and interact with the chest to trigger another cutscene. As the cutscene ends, the Blackbeard’s Treasure quest will conclude. Moreover, for the Blackbeard’s Treasure reward, you will get Blackbeard’s portrait, not Gold.
