Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get the Blue Marshmallow

The Summer Sizzle Event is back in Disney Dreamlight Valley and is bigger than ever. This year’s Summer Sizzle Event brings new Event Quests, a new Duty, and five new rewards. Although the main progression revolves around gathering the Pink and Blue Marshmallows, the Devs have made changes to the Blue Marshmallows. Now, the Blue Marshmallows do not spawn on the ground, so it is best to learn the new way of getting them to progress in the event. How to Get the Blue Marshmallow in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Blue Marshmallow spawn has been changed in this year’s event. Unlike last year’s event, the Blue Marshmallow will not spawn on the ground. Instead, they spawn on the Blue Marshmallow Bushes, like the pink ones. Similar to the Pink Marshmallow Bushes, there are three Blue Marshmallow Bushes, and they spawn in the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, and Dazzle Beach. Harvesting each Blue Marshmallow Bush grants 4x Blue Marshmallow, and they regrow in 30 minutes.

With this new change, it is easier to get the Blue Marshmallows. As this method is the same as getting the Pink Marshmallows, it feels more consistent to acquire the Marshmallows for the recipes and furniture. The best way to gather Blue and Pink Marshmallows is to group up all the Marshmallow Bushes using the Furniture Mode. This is because the Marshmallows will grow on these bushes throughout the event.

In total, there are six bushes, 3 for Pink Marshmallows and 3 for Blue Marshmallows. Group all of them together, and you can harvest them every 30 minutes for a constant supply of Marshmallows.

Use of the Blue Marshmallows in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Blue Marshmallow is a limited-time resource that is essential for progressing in the Summer Sizzle Event. During this event, you can use the Blue Marshmallows to cook Roasted Marshmallows and S’mores meals. Moreover, you can use them to craft exclusive furniture items from the event.
