Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Solve Carnivorous Plant Puzzle

The Parks Floating Festival is the latest event in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is a time-limited event live for 3 weeks, requiring players to visit the festival and solve puzzles to earn rewards. In the first week of the event, there are two puzzles available: Adventureland Trash Bins Puzzle and Carnivorous Plant Puzzle. In this guide, we will explain how to solve the Carnivorous Plant Puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley for the Parks Floating Festival.

The Parks Floating Festival in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Parks Floating Festival is a time-limited event, taking place at a temporary floating island in the sky from August 19, 2026, to September 8, 2026. During the 20 days of the event, players can visit the new floating island and solve the puzzles to earn rewards. Initially, there are two puzzles available, and four more will unlock later during the event period.

How to Get to the Parks Floating Festival Island

There are a couple of ways to get to the Parks Floating Festival Island to participate in the event. The first method is to find and interact with a mysterious new portal in the Plaza. Merlin will take you to the newly appeared portal in the Plaza. The new portal is at the center of the plaza, opposite the portal to the Dark Castle. Interact with the new portal to teleport to the Parks Floating Festival Island.

Alternatively, players can use the quick “Teleport” button under the event tab of the game to get to the new floating island. To do so, open the Parks Floating Festival section under the Event tab, and you will see the Teleport option on the page. Select the teleport option, and the player will spawn on the island.

How to Solve Carnivorous Plant Puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Carnivorous Plant is one of the two puzzles available in the first week of the Parks Floating Festival. To get a hint for the puzzle, interact with the glowing book in Adventure Town in front of the statue. It is the Gardening Maintenance book and mentions the location of the weed killer recipe. You can get the recipe from the red chest on the side of Oswald’s building. Loot and open the Plant-A-Way Potion Recipe so that you can craft it at the Crafting Station.

There is one crafting station next to the Wishing Well in Adventure Town. Interact with the station and you can craft the Plant-A-Way Potion with the following materials.

• 10x Purple Falling Penstemon: Spawns in the Plaza biome.
• 3x Garnet: Mine the mining nodes in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow biomes.
• 3x Aquamarine: Mine the mining nodes in the Dazzle Beach and Forest of Valor biomes.
• 1x Empty Vial: Craft at the crafting station using 3x Glass.

After crafting the potion, use it in the inventory to apply it to the Watering Can. Once done, you need to remove any 6 Carnivorous Plants around the island. Go around the island and water any six carnivorous plants.

Upon removing the sixth plant, a Parks Floating Festival Pouch will appear on the ground. Pick up the pouch and open it in the inventory to get “Carnivorous Plant” as the reward.
