Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse hides a lot of secrets in its world that you can discover as Rose Belmont. Although the hints for the secrets lie in the surroundings of the areas, it requires sharp eyes to notice any markings that can lead you to the secret. One of the hidden secrets in the game is the fourth melody of the Giant Organ in Notre-Dame. Progressing through Notre-Dame requires you to unlock the room with three melodies to get to the boss. However, the fourth melody unlocks a special room with a legendary weapon, War and Famine. In this guide, we will explain how to solve the secret Giant Organ Puzzle in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and get the War and Famine weapon.

Fourth Melody Secret Hint in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

The hint about the fourth melody is located at the Stained Glass Gallery, southeast of Ferryman’s Wharf. When you enter the gallery, you can see that the stained glass windows have astrological symbols, 14 to be exact, the same as the Giant Organ. Underneath each symbol, there are candles, which determine the order of the melody.

NOTE: The candles can be different for players. It is best to note down the number of candles in your playthrough to determine the order of the melody.

Now, head to the Giant Organ Room at the bottom of Notre-Dame to pursue the melody. Keep in mind that you have to press the melody keys in the order of the candles. For instance, the symbol with 1 candle is the first key, the symbol with 2 candles is the second key, and so on. It is helpful that you have a page on hand where you have marked the melody correctly. Moreover, completing the melody requires you to utilize the dash and double jump.

Upon completing the fourth melody, a secret door will open. Exit the Organ Room from the left side and head to the plaque. From here, drop down into the newly opened area and follow this linear path to find a pedestal.

Interact with the pedestal to claim the legendary War and Famine weapon. It is a dual swords weapon, perfect for offense playstyle.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
