Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse offers various costumes for the protagonist, Rose Belmont. A lot of these costumes are locked behind certain in-game achievements, while others require a pre-purchase of the game or the Midnight Edition. Among all of the costumes for Rose Belmont, there is one particular costume that is a secret. This particular costume is none other than Sonia Belmont, the protagonist in Castlevania Legends. In this guide, we will explain how to unlock the Sonia Style Costume in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse.

How to Unlock Sonia Style Costume in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

The Sonia Style Costume is locked behind the classic Konami Code in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. If you have ever played a Konami game and are familiar with the cheat, then you would understand it instantly. You can input the Konami Code either in the game’s menu or anywhere in the game. If input correctly, the cheat will register and you will unlock the Sonia Style Costume.

Here is the Konami Code that you need to enter, depending on your platform.

  • PlayStation 5: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, X, O
  • Xbox Series X|S: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A, B
  • Nintendo Switch 2: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A

As mentioned above, if you input the code correctly, you will get a notification of “New Character Skin Unlocked.”

How to Equip the Costumes in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

Here is how to equip or change costumes in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse.

  • Pause the game and go into the “System” tab on the right.
  • After that, navigate to the “Character Skin” option at the bottom.
  • Select this option to unveil all the available character skins.
  • From here, you can equip any skin for your adventure.

Sonia Skin brings back nostalgia, especially to those who remember her from Castlevania Legends (1997). Another plus point is that it is a free skin and does not require any progression. You can unlock it as early as possible by putting in the Konami Code.
