A new installment for Pokemon Legends is set to launch in 2025 on Nintendo

Yesterday, the first Pokémon Presents event of 2024 took place and lasted for 13 minutes, and revealed new upcoming content for the ongoing games along with announcing a new major installment for Pokémon Legends. At the end of the event, the trailer for the sequel of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Legends: Z-A was showcased revealing that it is set to be launched next year on Nintendo.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be set in the infamous Lumiose City which was originally debuted in Pokémon X and Y, and released more than a decade ago. The trailer only shows the hand-sketched futuristic design of the city along with the familiar Mega Evolutions symbols which will be returning from Pokémon X and Y.

It will take players back to the Kalos region but players will not be able to fully explore the Kalos region, and according to Nintendo of America’s tweet, this new adventure will be entirely set within Lumiose City. As we can see in the trailer, the state of Lumiose City is a bit futuristic, and the description of the game also confirms that the city will be more developed than ever before.

‘A new adventure awaits within Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is underway to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon.’

For now, there isn’t any more information regarding Pokémon Legends Z-A but more information will be revealed throughout the year by the Pokémon Company which we will be covering.
