Animal Crossing: New Horizons has sold 3,611,246 copies in Japan

Japanese Magazine Famitsu released a list of the best-selling games and the best-selling game consoles in Japan as of last week.

As reported by Famitsu, Animal Crossing: New Horizons still tops the list of the best-selling game. On the other hand, Final Fantasy VII Remake which was released for PS4 holds the second position.

Here is the list of the best selling games in Japan as of last week.

• Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4) – 70,652 ( 773,505 cumulative)
• Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch) – 13,313 (cumulative 2,882,585 )
• Resident Evil 3 (PS4) – 12,247 (cumulative 236,435 )
• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch) – 9,034 (cumulative 3,655,868)
• One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 (PS4) – 8,682 (cumulative total of 116,217)
