Bear and Breakfast: Looting and Foraging guide

Bear and Breakfast is a life simulator game in which you’ll play as a Bear named Hank. You’ll cook breakfast for the humans and turn a shack into the finest B&B in the forest. At the start of the game, you’ll find a sweet old lady named Barbara that’ll tell you the story of her B&B and ask for your help to make it better. The first quest of this game will be to clear out the Eastern Cabin. For this, you’ll need to loot and forage all of the garbage and items that you find outside of the easter cabin and inside of the eastern cabin.

Looting and Foraging

Looting and Foraging work the same in this game as the other simulator or survival games. The first thing that you’ll learn in this game is to loot items. Barbara will give you a quest to clear out the Eastern Cabin. It means you have to clean the garbage, and items that are spread outside or inside the cabin. Go straight down from the shack of Barbara and you’ll see a building. There’ll be a lot of garbage, items, food, etc. that you can find inside and outside of the cabin.

To notice the difference between Garbage and useful items or food, you’ll need to look at the surroundings and if you see a shine on an item, it means that it is a useful item or food. If you are walking and you didn’t see the shine on the item and still get the loot option, it means that it is garbage. You can collect as much garbage as you want because garbage will not take any place in your inventory. All the items or food that you collect will take a space in your inventory that you can later use in the game.

Looting wood planks, stone piles, etc. will be used later in the game because Barbara will give you a crafting table on which you can craft new furniture for the cabins to increase the ambiance of your B&B. Foraging will let you store the food and eat it or cook it when you need it. So, try to clean the place around the cabin and the shack and when you go exploring the woods, try to loot the Plywood Planks and Stone Piles to renovate the cabin more often and create new furniture.
