Navigating through the Clock Tower area is a crucial part of Castlevania Belmont’s Curse, as there is one major hidden boss in this area. The boss you are trying to reach is Talos, also known as the Builder. However, the Builder is not reachable through simple platforming; instead, it requires you to open a secret path. How to Solve the Clock Tower Puzzle in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

There is a good chance that you miss the actual route to the Builder on your first navigation through the Clock Tower. The puzzle location is in the Eastern Access Shaft, which is easily missed until you get the clue about the “Blueprints for the Clock Tower.”

Where to Find Blueprints for the Clock Tower

The clue for the blueprints is in the “Daedalus Crossing” room of the Clock Tower. You will eventually reach it by an elevator. From here, head right and drop down to the platform below, where you can break the block by triggering the punch above. Drop down to find the clue. The clue will showcase a map with an X mark, which leads to the secret path.

How to Open the Secret Path in the Clock Tower

The location from the clue is near the top of the Eastern Access Shaft room. You will come across the horizontal platforms where the punch drops every time you cross the chain. You need to make the horizontal platforms into vertical platforms to make the punch drop all the way down to break a block.

To do so, start from the top punch. For the two top horizontal platforms, go by the mechanism on the right. As the punch drops on the mechanism, it will make them vertical. After that, drop down to the right, and go to the left to come across the big horizontal platform. Continue to the left to find the mechanism for it. Step on it to change the platform position to vertical.

Drop down and cross the chain to the right. It will trigger the punch above to break the glowing block below. Now, drop down into the area, which will lead you to the Builder.
