Core Keeper: How to Defeat All Bosses

Core Keeper is in the Early Access stage and it’s a sandbox and role-playing game. In this game, you come to explore the underworld and encounter various enemies. You can mine, build, farm and craft to get through the darkness of the underworld. You get to explore different cavern places in this game and each of the places has its own kind of creatures. You’ll learn different strategies by facing the enemies and learn about their weaknesses as well so you can prepare yourself for the best.

This game has a total of six bosses including the optional bosses. As this game is in an Early Access stage so, they might put new content in the game after the updates. The four of the bosses are the main bosses and the rest of them are optional bosses. In this guide, we tell you how to defeat all the bosses in the game.

Main Bosses

There are four main bosses in the game that you’ll encounter in the underworld.

Glurch the Abominous Mass

You’ll face this boss not very far from the starting point of the game as you begin to explore from the Core, you’ll hear distant thudding which means you’ll be getting close to this boss. Now for this boss, you need to have copper armor so you can tank some hits, a tin sword, a shovel, and a few crude bombs to deal damage to him. Also, keep food with yourself that’ll give you boost speed or damage. You basically need these items just to defeat him and the basic strategy is not to go too aggressive just play for your turn to deal damage to him.

Ghorm the Devourer

This boss is actually a huge insect that will be roaming around in the tunnels around the core and you can encounter him as you start going through the tunnels. For this boss fight, you need to have A copper shovel to deal damage to him when he gets close. Set 50 spike traps in the tunnel when you see him cross, he will again go from there and most likely your spike traps will kill him. You need torches to see in the dark as he moves from a tunnel to a tunnel. Crude bombs will also be effective in dealing damage to him.

The Hive Mother

She can be found once you have used the Glurch statue at the Core, her location will be revealed on the map. For this boss fight, you need to have Iron or carapace armor to tank some hits. You need a flintlock musket as well to deal damage to her from a range. Keep healing potions with yourself as well. Set spike traps on her movement and keep a copper shovel as well.

Azeos the Sky Titan

To find this boss, first, you need to defeat all the three bosses mentioned above and then use their statues at the core. You’ll get new directions to follow and you’ll encounter him. For this boss fight, you need to have scarlet armor to tank some hits and a Shield as well to block his attacks. A scarlet sword, scarlet pickaxe, and a shovel to deal damage to him. Keep bombs also with yourself because they will come in handy too. Keep healing potions also because you probably going to need them as well.

Optional Bosses

Right now, there are two optional bosses in the game.

Malugaz the Corrupted

He can be found in the Forgotten Ruins biome and he can also be encountered before the Azeos the Sky Titan boss. For this boss fight, you need to have a scarlet sword to deal damage to him when he is close and a fireball staff to deal damage to him when he is at a distance. You need to have lots of food for speed and damage and lots of healing potions. Keep up your shield as well to block his attacks.

Ivy the Poisonous Mass

This boss is in the Azeos Wilderness biome and can be found in the tunnels with the pink poison slimes. For this boss fight, you need to have a Remedaisy Necklace which will render you immune to poison. Keep healing potions with yourself as well. You need to have a scarlet sword to deal damage. Keep movement buffing food with yourself as well so you can move around quickly and deal damage to him.

That’ll be all for the bosses of this game, we hope you find it useful to defeat the boss that you were trying to.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
