The Cooking Guild has several recipes that players can learn by finding the recipe books/pages or completing the quests. One of the new recipes added in Palia with the Royal Highlands Expansion is Rice ‘n Beans. In this guide, we will tell you how to make Rice ‘n Beans in Palia.

How to Get Rice ‘n Beans Recipe in Palia

Before players get to make the Rice ‘n Beans, they will have to acquire the recipe. To unlock the Rice ‘n Beans recipe, players have to pursue the “Flames of Ambition” quest. It is the main story quest for Eshelon. During the quest, Subira will hand you the recipe after unlocking Amadeus’ Vault. From here, you can use this recipe to cook Rice ‘n Beans at a campfire.

How to Make Rice ‘n Beans in Palia

Rice ‘n Beans is a new dish in the game, and once you have unlocked its recipe, you will be able to make it at a Campfire. Unlike other recipes that require certain cooking appliances, you just have to set up a Campfire using the following materials.

• 5x Sapwood
• 10x Stone
• 2x Flint
• 10x Plant Fiber

Upon building a campfire, interact with it to view the Rice ‘n Beans recipe. Making Rice ‘n Beans will require the following ingredients.

• 3x Batterfly Beans
• 3x Rice
• 1x Spicy Pepper
• 1x Spice Sprouts

You can get the Rice directly from Daiya Family Farm located over at Leafhopper Hills area. It will cost you 105 Gold for each rice. Alternatively, you can also get Rice Seeds from Zeki’s General Store for 23 Gold and plant them in your Housing Plot to get the Rice yield after 3 days (in-game). You can find the Batterfly Beans growing in Mitana Grove, Okanaa Bog, and Mauvais Way in Elderwood. To get the Spicy Pepper, you have to grow it using the Spicy Pepper Seeds, which you can purchase from Zeki’s General Store for 170 Gold. It will take 6 days (in-game) for Spicy Pepper to grow. Lastly, you can find Spice Sprouts near the Mirror Fields and Leafhopper Hills areas. Alternatively, you can purchase it directly from the General Store for 46 Gold.

After acquiring the ingredients, go and interact with the Campfire and select the Rice ‘n Beans recipe. It will take 15 seconds for 3x Rice ‘n Beans to cook. Once done, interact with the campfire to collect it.

Use of Rice ‘n Beans in Palia

Rice ‘n Beans is a consumable in Palia, and it grants 290 Focus for the basic version and 435 Focus for the Star-Quality version of Rice ‘n Beans. Furthermore, you can also sell it at the Shipping Bin for 77 Gold (Basic) and 115 Gold (Star-Quality).
