Cyberpunk 2077: update 1.3 and first free DLC unveiled, here are all the details

Despite its problems and controversies, Cyberpunk 2077 is a big seller. A recent report by CD Projekt Red has revealed that this title exceeded 13 million units sold by the end of 2020, that is, in less than a month in the world market.

To be exact, Cyberpunk 2077 sold more than 13.7 million units since its launch on December 10 and through the end of 2020. Of this incredible number, 56%, or 7.67 million copies, were sold on PC; 28%, or 3.84 million, were sold on PS4; 17%, or 2.33 million, were sold on Xbox One.

On the other hand, 73%, or 10 million copies of Cyberpunk 2077, were sold digitally. This means that physical sales on consoles only represent 27% of the total. Similarly, CD Projekt Red shared a record by region, where it is revealed that 37.8% of total sales were made in North America, followed by Europe with 33.8% and Japan with 20.2%.

For their part, CD Projekt Red executives hope that Cyberpunk 2077 sales will generate revenue for many more years , something similar to that of The Witcher 3 . It will be interesting to see what the financial performance of this controversial title will be in the future.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
