Dataminer shares new details on emulation in Super Mario 3D All-Stars

As you all know, Super Mario 3D All-Stars is available since last September 18 in both physical and digital format on Nintenpo Switch. This compilation has given much to talk about for different reasons and more and more details related to it are being shared.
Today we bring you one more example of this and is that the latest finding comes once again from a dataminer, namely oatmeal, which has already shared various details previously. Here are the details he shared:
- He believes he has discovered that there are additional” GPU features ” in the GameCube and Wii emulator within this collection.
- This could be a sign of what’s coming (possibly other games of these generations), but it can’t guarantee anything.

On the other hand, the YouTuber Modern Vintage Gamer also speculated, although there is no proof of anything currently, that this could lead to more games because NERD has built an emulation layer, which could be reused in upcoming titles and open the door for classic games to be remastered.
It seems that the controversy that has arisen over the launch of this collection will still bring a tail. It is clear that Nintendo could have done better, but regardless of this, the indisputable thing is that it includes three great games that provide many hours of entertainment and fun. Will we see more compilations of this style in the future? Only time will tell.
