Deliver Us Mars: Chapter 1 – Walkthrough

In the following guide, we’ll cover the first chapter of Deliver Us Mars.

Chapter 1

After completing the Prologue of the game, the first chapter of the game will take place after 8 years (2068) of the Prologue. The main protagonist Kathy will be on an MPT Dish that she will have to fix. After the cutscene, you will get the control and you need to go down the staircase in the middle of the Dish. Make your way down to the Dish and you will get the objective to Hook up the MPT Dish.

Go inside the cabin on the left. Cut open the locks on the floor to release a STREAME Point. Now, before rotating it, go outside the cabin and cut off the Shutters of the blinds on the window. Go back inside and rotate the STREAME to the right side to connect it to the receiver point outside the cabin on your right. The gate of the other cabin will unlock. Go inside the other cabin and connect the beam to the receiver point on the left generator in front of the cabin on the left side. Now, go back to the other cabin and connect the beam to the receiver point on the right generator in front of the cabin on the right side. It will power up the Dish and the very first puzzle of the game will be completed.

Now, go down the staircase to meet Ryan. Hop on the back of his truck and make your way to WSA. Once there, you will have to find your way into Maria’s Office. Get out of the back of the truck by jumping and make your way to the staircase on the left side. Follow the Staircase and you will reach the WSA Building entrance. Go inside and go through the hallway on the left and then go through the door on the right side to reach the Museum. Go through the right door ahead in the Museum to reach the OUTWARD Project area.

You will see a door in front. Press the C Button to control AYLA and try to open the door. A cutscene will start in which you will meet Sarah. You need to follow her to the elevator and then another cutscene will start in which you will meet Claire and Ryan. They all will go inside Maria’s Office for the meeting and you will have to find a way to Eavesdrop on Maria’s Meeting.

Go ahead and right around the corner, you will see some Wooden Boxes. Jump on them and use your laser to cut the locks of the vent. Crouch and go through the vent and go down. You will have to cut the steel pipes ahead to make your way inside the hall.

You need to use the first lift in front when you cross through the pipes. This lift will move up and down only. Press the button to move it up. Now, use the other lift which is in the air. It will move left and right only. You need to press the button to move the lift in the right direction and as soon as you press it, quickly jump on the other lift which is in the up position and then jump on the lift that is going in the right direction. Once the lift is in the right direction, you need to jump on the white big cylinder. Now, use your laser to cut the air ventilation locks.

Now, press the C Button to control AYLA. Go through the air ventilation and follow the pipes to reach the meeting room. Go through the cutscene and then move ahead further in the pipe to reach the next room. You will go through another cutscene in which Kathy will hear a recorded message from her father.

After the cutscene, a few months have passed and it will be the year 2069. Kathy is now a part of a mission that Maria has assigned Claire to lead. Go through the cutscene and then follow your crew to get in the Transport. Sit inside the Transport and go through the dialogues until you reach the rocket. Go on the Elevator and press the button to go up. Walk on the Strongback to go inside the rocket. Go up the ladder and you will get to Execute the Launch Procedure.

While sitting in the cockpit, you will hear Claire test the system. There are eight different systems that you need to check on Claire’s order. The systems’ switches are on your right side and you will have to turn them on in the following order.

• Oxygen (OXY)
• Flight (FLI)
• Navigation (NAV)
• Ground Start Sequence (GLS)
• Fuel (FUE)
• Liquid Oxygen (LOX)
• Power (POW)
• Launch sequence functions (LSF)

After that, Claire will test other systems with Ryan and Sarah and then tell you to retract the Strongback. Look to the left side and you will see a turned-on button. Switch it off and then press and hold the slider on the side of the switch and slide it all the way down. After that, when Claire says, to retract the orbiter access arm, you need to interact with the joystick and move the arm all the way to the right. After that, you will have to start auxiliary power units. Look down right on the panel and you will see four sliders. You need to place all the sliders in the pink shining positions and they all will turn blue. Meaning, they are in the correct positions now.

Now, you will have to retract the gaseous oxygen vent arm. Look to the left and you need to turn the wheel knob to 0 and then slide the slider all the way down. Now, use the Joystick and pull it back to successfully retract the gaseous oxygen vent arm. Claire will tell all the team to put on their Visors. Left-Click to close your visor. Claire will tell you to power transfer controls. Look to the panel on the right and press the Pink Switch and slide the slider all the way up.

After that, you will have to initiate solid fuel thrusters. You need to press the top pink button on the right side of the main screen and then drag the throttle lever up to lift off. Wait for the rocket to reach space and then you will have to initiate stage 1 separation. You need to lower the lever on the left side of the main screen. Lower the first lever to the green area to separate the 1st stage. Now, press the button in the middle on the right side of the screen and then drag the throttle lever again as before.

By doing all of this, the lift off will be successful and the first chapter of Deliver Us Mars will be concluded.
