Diablo IV: A Prayer for Salvation – Quest Walkthrough

A Prayer for Salvation is the fifth main Seasonal Quest of the Season of Malignant in Diablo IV. The quest will unlock once players have completed the Answers in the Ashes quest. It continues the storyline of Season of Malignant, in which Cormond learns about the Cages of Binding from the Hawezar region. Players must assist Cormond in obtaining the required items for his research.

A Prayer for Salvation – Walkthrough

After the incident in the Orbei Monastery, Cormond will travel to Zarbinzet town in the Hawezar region. Players need to fast travel to Zarbinzet to find Cormond at his new location. Talk to Cormond to learn about the next move, and players will have to gather three different items from three different locations in the Hawezar region.

Collect Crusader Missives

The first item players need to get is Crusader Missives from Crusader’s Monument located on the west side of the Hawezar region. Players can travel north from Zarbinzet to reach Crusader’s Monument. Upon reaching the Monument, go ahead to find the Crusader Missives on the left side of Worn Gravestone.

Collect Paladin Prayer Book

The Paladin Prayer Book is located inside Eriman’s Pyre. Eriman’s Pyre is one of the strongholds in the Hawezar region and is situated on the north side of the region. Players can travel northeast from Crusader’s Monument to reach the location. They need to clear the stronghold from enemies to obtain the Paladin Prayer Book. After defeating all of the enemies, a Charred Chest will be marked on the mini-map, and looting the chest will grant players the Paladin Prayer Book.

Collect Tithe Ledger

The Tithe Ledger is located on the east side of the Hawezar region, outside of the Belfry Zakara dungeon. Go to the location and head to the left side after going up the staircase to find the Tithe Ledger.

Once players have collected all three required items, they need to return to Zarbinzet and give them to Cormond to complete the quest.
