Diablo IV: How to Complete Chapter 2 of Seasonal Journey

Completing Chapter 2 of the Seasonal Journey is crucial for players to unlock the Holding Back the Flood quest, a Seasonal Quest integral to the storyline of the Season of Malignant. This quest requires players to complete both Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 of the Seasonal Journey. As the Seasonal Journey is also vital for progressing through the Battle Pass tiers, players will receive several rewards for completing the challenges.

How to Complete Chapter 2 of Seasonal Journey in Diablo IV

Chapter 2 of the Seasonal Journey comprises 11 challenges in total, slightly more than the previous chapter. However, players are only required to complete any 9 of them. Similar to the previous chapter, where players had to complete any 7 challenges to unlock the next chapter, players must complete any 9 challenges to unlock the next chapter and the subsequent main Seasonal Quest. As these challenges are not marked on the map, it’s important to open the Seasonal Journey found under the Season Tab in the main menu to view the challenges and complete those that players find manageable.

All challenges in Chapter 2 of the Seasonal Journey are as follows, and players must complete any 9 to complete the chapter:

• Undertaker: Complete 10 Cellars.
• Stopping the Spread: Collect 3 Malignant Hearts.
• Ruins Reclaimed: Conquer a Stronghold.
• Gemcutter: Craft any Chipped gem at the Jeweler.
• A Torch in the Depths: Complete 5 Malignant Tunnels.
• Baptized in Blood: Reach Level 25.
• Vivisector: Collect 15 Demon Hearts. Kill the Demons or complete the cellars to find Demon Hearts.
• A Warrior of Taste: Change your gear’s appearance 5 times at the wardrobe.
• Lighting the Way: Interact with 10 Waypoints for faster travel to new places.
• Spit and Polish: Upgrade 2 items at the Blacksmith or jeweler.
• Finer Clarity: Upgrade your potion to Minor at the Alchemist.

Upon completing the challenges, players will get a certain reward. All the rewards that players will get from completing the 2nd Chapter of the Seasonal Journey are the following:
