Diablo IV Officially Reveals the Title for its Season 5: Season of the Infernal Hordes

Blizzard recently revealed the official title for Diablo IV’s upcoming Season 5, Season of the Infernal Hordes with its official release date marked as August 6, 2024. In the Season of Infernal Hordes, players will enter the Realm of Hatred (Hell) to encounter the Infernal Hordes, a new wave-based encounter feature that only escalates with each wave being cleared.

Infernal Hordes in Season 5 of Diablo IV

Players can engage the Infernal Hordes either with friends or Solo to take on the challenge from ruthless demonic creatures and other elements like shooting meteoroids that will keep them at their constant pace. As players clear through the waves, they will be offered an Infernal Offer through which they make a choice at some cost that will change the game mode in some way.

Moreover, during the waves, various events will take place that will reward players with ether that they will be able to use to open the chests at the end of the Infernal Hordes encounter to get rewards after defeating the Fell Council. The more ether a player obtains, the more rewards they can cash out.

Other Features of Season of the Infernal Hordes

Furthermore, along with the Infernal Hordes feature, players can expect the following features.

• New Micro-Dungeons that give a brief taste of what Infernal Hordes offer.
• New Questline that will take you to Hell.
• 50+ New Unique and Legendaries forged in Hell.

Moreover, the changes regarding the Unique in Season of the Infernal Hordes will be showcased in the Developer Stream on August 1, 2024.
