Diablo IV Patch 1.1.2 Last Minute Buffed Sorcerer and Necromancer
Diablo IV’s Patch 1.1.2 is mainly focused on fixing the current bugs in the previous patch and a lot of the patch notes were about the bugs that players faced. One of the major bugs that have been fixed is that you can replace Wrathful Hearts with another Wrathful Heart without getting the “you’re equipping too many Wrathful Hearts” message. All of these patch notes were released about a few days before but as the update of Patch 1.1.2 was released, they have added a buff for Sorcerer and Necromancer at the very last minute.
The buff for Sorcerer and Necromancer revolves around the Caged Heart of Tal’Rasha and the Caged Heart of the Great Feast. A lot of players did not know that the buff values for these hearts are not counted correctly. In the previous patch, the values were calculated as additive to the damage but in the latest patch, the values are calculated as multiplicative which immensely increases the damage of Sorcerer and Necromancer for the respective build containing either of these hearts.
For a better understanding of the changes in the Hearts, you can read the following.
- The Caged Heart of Tal’Rasha: For each unique element you deal damage with, you deal 7-12% increased damage for 2-8 seconds.
- The Caged Heart of the Great Feast: Each Minion drains 1-2 Essence per second, but deals 75-100% increased damage. With no Minions, this bonus applies to you and drains 5 Essence per second.
The multiplicative damage from the Caged Heart of Tal’Rasha will be more effective for the builds of the Sorcerer Class. The Necromancer Class can use various builds around the Caged Heart of the Great Feast.
Diablo IV Patch 1.1.2 is currently live now on all the available platforms.
