Diablo IV Season 1 Begins Now

The first season of the game Diablo IV kicked off a few minutes ago July 20, 2023, and it’s set to wrap up on October 17th. When the Season was released, there were long lines of players waiting on the game servers, even more than when the game was first launched. Interestingly, just a few days before this, there were a lot of complaints from Diablo IV fans about the 1.1 patch. Some were so upset that they decided not to participate in the first season.

When the first season started, there were some technical issues. Some players said that they were stuck in endless loading screens when they tried to enter dungeons. Others couldn’t get into areas that were part of the seasonal quests.

Blizzard, the company behind the game, has acknowledged these server issues and they’re working on fixing them.

The first season, called Season of the Plague, brought some new features to Diablo IV. These include a new backstory, a boss character named Varshan the Devoured, corrupted enemies, and the option to enhance rings and amulets with plague powers.
