Disney Dreamlight Valley: Breaking the Code – Quest Walkthrough

Breaking the Code is the second Friendship Quest for Belle that players will get to unlock once they have reached Friendship Level 4 with Belle.

In this guide, we’ll be covering the Breaking the Code quest for Belle in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Breaking the Code – Walkthrough

Once players have finished the Book Hunt quest and leveled up their Friendship Level to Level 4 with Belle, they will unlock the Breaking the Code quest. Players need to talk to Belle and select the quest option to start the quest.

Find Maurice’s Design Pages

Once players have started the quest, the first objective that they need to complete is to find 3 design pages of Maurice in the Beauty and the Beast Realm. Go to the Dream Castle and make your way to the Beauty and Beast Realm to find the pages. Maurice’s Design Pages can be found at the following locations in the Beauty and the Beast Realm.

• West Wing (Beast’s Room)
• Library
• Maze

Bring Maurice’s Design Pages to Belle

After finding all 3 of Maurice’s Design Pages, go back to the Dreamlight Valley and give Belle the pages. Make sure that the pages are in your inventory otherwise, you will not get the option to give the pages to Belle.

Gather the Components and Craft the Translation Machine

Once you have delivered the pages to Belle, she will need something to understand the pages for which you will have to craft the Translation Machine. For the translation machine, you will have to first gather the materials required for it.

• 30x Softwood
• 4x Tinkering Parts
• 20x Glass
• 1x Motherboard

The Motherboard can be obtained by talking to Wall-E. Once you have gathered all of the materials, go to the crafting station and select the Functional Items tab to craft the Translation Machine.

Give the Translation Machine to Belle

After crafting the translation Machine, go to Belle and give her the Translation Machine. Make sure that the Translation Machine is in your inventory otherwise, you will not get the option to give her the Translation Machine.

By giving her the Translation Machine, the quest will be concluded and you will be rewarded with 810 Friendship Points with Belle.
