Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Complete the A New Directive Quest

A New Directive is a Friendship Quest for EVE that players will get to pursue once they have reached Friendship Level 2 with her and completed the prerequisite quest, Directive: Danger. This guide will walk you through how to complete the A New Directive quest for EVE in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete A New Directive Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Starting the Quest

Speak to EVE upon reaching Friendship Level 2 with her and completing the prior quest named Directive: Danger to initiate the A New Directive quest.

Feed the Monkeys

As the quest begins, you will be tasked with feeding two Monkeys. Monkeys are found all over the Ancient’s Landing biome and their favorite food is any 5-Star Meal. Give any 5-Star meals to the monkeys to feed them and then go back to EVE.

Follow EVE

After telling EVE about the fed monkeys, she wants to spend some time with WALL-E but before that follow her to a secret garden in Ancient’s Landing. Keep following EVE until you reach the secret garden and then speak with her. Upon speaking with her, leave the garden to get the next objective.

Find the last objects in Swirling Sands

Equip the Royal Hourglass tool and use it around the Ancient’s Landing biome to find the following two objects.

• BnL Picnic Blanket
• BnL Trashcan Planter

The locations for these objects will be random so search every rift you open using the Hourglass to find the objects.

Gather the Flowers

After finding both of the required objects, you need to gather the following flowers.

• 3x Orange Birds of Paradise: Found in The Docks and The Courtyard areas of Ancient’s Landing biome.
• 3x Yellow Birds of Paradise: Found in The Docks and The Courtyard areas of Ancient’s Landing biome.
• 3x White Birds of Paradise: Found in The Docks and The Courtyard areas of Ancient’s Landing biome.
• 3x Red Luminescent Flowers: Found in The Overlook and The Ruins areas of Ancient’s Landing biome.
• 2x Jade: Found by mining the nodes in The Courtyard and The Overlook areas of Ancient’s Landing biome.

After gathering all the flowers, bring all of the items to EVE and go through the dialogues.

Listen to EVE and WALL-E

Follow EVE and listen to the conversation between her and WALL-E. After the conversation, open the camera to take three pictures of EVE and WALL-E. Now, speak to EVE to conclude the quest.

Rewards

Completing the A New Directive quest will reward you with 440 Friendship Points.
