The Spark of Imagination quest is a story quest in Act II: The Spark of Imagination of the A Rift in Time expansion. It is a quest for Oswald that comes available after completing the A Bit of Help From Your Friends quest for Merlin. This guide will walk you through how to complete The Spark of Imagination quest for Oswald in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete The Spark of Imagination Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Starting the Quest

The Spark of Imagination quest becomes available and activated once you have completed the A Bit of Help From Your Friends quest. It begins as soon as you reach the depths of the Ancient Ruins and see Oswald for the first time.

Raise the Bridge

Speak to Oswald to learn how he reached the depths and then you will get the objective to raise the bridge to reach the next platform. You can see the space for the lever on the right side of the bridge but it will be missing a lever. To find the lever, go to the left side of the bridge to find a trumpet on a rocky block. Interact with it and Oswald will drop an Exclamation Mark on the floor.

Pick up the Exclamation Mark and go to the lever space to transfer the Exclamation Mark into it, and then interact with it to raise the bridge to the next platform. Now, follow Oswald to the next platform and speak with him.

Rotate the Bridge

As you speak to Oswald on the rotatable platform, a Question Mark will drop on the floor and some flying gears will appear in the area. Pick up the Question Mark and then gather three flying gears. You can find two of the gears on the platform while the last one can be found at the starting area of the quest.

After getting the items, go along the bridge to the right side and you will reach an area with a Timebending Table. Interact with it and navigate to the Quests section to find a recipe for the Question Mark Wheel. Craft the Question Mark Wheel, make your way back to the middle of the platform, and transfer it to the wheel. Lastly, interact with the question mark to rotate the bridge to the final platform.

Open the Path to reach the Spark of Imagination

Follow Oswald to the final platform and speak to him. Another Question Mark will drop on the floor and more flying gears will appear in the area. Pick up the question mark and the flying gears. The two flying gears can be picked up easily while the third one will be on a separate platform on the left side. To get it, go back to the second platform and rotate it by interacting with the question mark wheel.

After getting all three flying gears, go back to the Timebending Table and craft another Question Mark Wheel. Now, go back to the final platform and transfer it to the wheel. Use the wheel to rotate the platform to the left side. Here, you need to break the rock with a trumpet stuck inside it. Pick up the trumpet and make your way back to the platform.

Now, interact with a rocky block beside the wheel and transfer the trumpet on it. Interact with the trumpet and Oswald will drop an Exclamation Mark. Before you place the exclamation mark, rotate the platform back toward the path to the Spark of Imagination. Once done, transfer the exclamation mark to the lever space and interact with it to open the path.

Completing the Quest

Go ahead along the opened path and make your way up the staircase to reach the Spark of Imagination. As you reach close to it, a cutscene will play that we won’t spoil. After the cutscene, go and speak with Oswald to conclude the quest.

Rewards

Completing The Spark of Imagination quest will give the following rewards.

  • 1,000 Friendship Points
  • Unlock Oswald

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
