Disney Dreamlight Valley - Quartz

Quartz is one of the new crafting materials in Disney Dreamlight Valley introduced with the A Rift in Time expansion. It is an exclusive material that can only be found in Eternity Isle and used for several crafting recipes including furniture and structures. These furniture and structure items can both be used for decorative purposes as well as to help out villagers in their quests.

In this guide, we’ll go over how to get Quartz in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Get Quartz in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Quartz is obtained from mining the Black Rock deposits found inside the Ancient’s Landing biome of Eternity Isle. It is the first biome that players will get to reach as they travel to Eternity Isle at the start of the expansion.

The Ancient’s Landing biome is located on the south side of Eternity Isle and players can find Quartz in the following areas of the Ancient’s Landing biome.

  • The Docks
  • The Courtyard
  • The Overlook
  • The Ruins

The Docks is the first unlocked area that players will get to visit as they reach Eternity Isle and it holds multiple mining nodes from which players can get the Quartz. Simply equip the Royal Pickaxe and press the RMB on the mining nodes to mine them and obtain Quartz. Each mining node will drop 1x Quartz so to get more, you will have to come back to the area after a while or go into the other three areas of the Ancient’s Landing biome.

The selling price of Quartz is 20 Star Coins but it is not recommended to sell it as it is used in various furniture and structural recipes that are required for both decoration and helping out the villagers.
