Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes: How to Recruit the Characters

Fire Emblem is an action roleplaying game for Nintendo Switch players. It is a sequel to Fire Emblem: Three Houses and this game’s storyline takes place on the continent of Fodlan. There are three different houses in this game that you have to fight and also you can recruit the characters from the houses. You can play the game with the recruited characters.
In this guide, we tell you how to recruit the character in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
Recruiting A Character
At the beginning of the game, you’ll be given an option to choose the house you want to start your game with. The three houses are the following.
- Black Eagles
- Blue Lions
- Golden Deer
Whichever house you select, you are going to unlock the main characters of that house as you progress in the story. You can also recruit the main characters of the other two houses as well. In order to unlock the characters instead of killing them in the main story mission, you need to have the Strategy Currency.
Strategy Currency is obtained from the side missions. You need to complete the side missions to earn the strategy currency before accepting the main story missions. After completing a side mission, you’ll get an amount of strategy currency that can be used in the main story mission. When you see the chapter’s main story mission on the War Map of the game, the game will tell you a tutorial on making strategies for the fight. You can use the earned strategies in the main missions of the chapters. While making the strategy for the mission, you’ll see different strategies for the mission and each strategy will have an amount that will cost you if you select the particular strategy.

In the list of strategies, there’ll be a strategy named Persuade. If you choose this strategy, you’ll be able to recruit the main character of the other house. If you don’ select this strategy then at the end of the main mission, you are going to fight the character of the other house and the game will give you an objective of killing the character. Once you win the fight, you won’t be able to recruit the character you killed. But if you have chosen the Persuade strategy then at the end of the mission, the game will give you an objective of defeat & recruit the character. Then you’ll fight the character and once the character is downed, you’ll be able to recruit the character.
You’ll be able to recruit characters on the Chapter’s Main Missions which can be seen on the War Map. These missions are marked with a golden cross or treasure. Every chapter will have this mission in which you’ll be able to recruit a character from the other house.
