Activate Augments

Augments are also a part of the new season of Chapter 4 of Fortnite. They were initially introduced in the first season but since it changes the pace of surviving in a match, they decided to keep it in the second season as well. As Augments are a part of the match, a lot of players will be using them to increase their survival chances in the match. However, players will also have to activate the Augments for challenges in the new season.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Activate Augments in Fortnite.

Activating Augments in Fortnite

If you have played chapter 4 from the first season then you will probably know what Augments are. If not then you should know them because they will give you certain buffs in a match that can be held for the entire match or until you get eliminated. You will get to stack up to 4 Augments of your choice in the match.

Now that you have got the idea of Augments, you need to learn how to activate them. Augments are part of the match and they will be available for all of the players in a match. When the match starts, you will have to wait for a moment until a Blue text of “Ready” pops up on the right side of your screen. Once it does, you need to press the “7” key on the keyboard or the Right Button on the D-Pad to open the Augments menu.

After that, you need to press the Click/Rt to activate one of the Augments shown in the menu. You will get to activate any 1 of 2 Augments each time. As you survive through the match long enough, you will be able to activate a total of 4 Augments.

In Season 2 of Chapter 4, you will get the challenges to activate Augments a number of times so, make sure to complete these challenges to earn XP to level up quickly.
