Gears of War devs release the first screenshot of Unreal Engine 5 tech demo taken on Xbox Series X

• The developers took a screenshot by running a tech demo called Alpha Point on the Xbox Series X console, as indicated by the caption on the image.
• At GDC 2021, The Coalition’s CTO Colin Penti will share what the team has learned while testing UE5 Lumen and Nanite technologies, which are responsible for realistic global illumination and optimization, respectively. He will also cover performance and memory usage issues for Unreal Engine 5 on Xbox Series X | S.
• The Alpha Point presentation will take place on July 20 at 23:20 Moscow time and will last an hour.
