Genshin Impact: How to Unlock Underwater Waypoint in Sumeru Region

Waypoints are used for teleporting around the region and in Sumeru region there is a waypoint that is a bit complicated to unlock because it is underwater. The new players will find it hard to do exactly what they need to do in order to unlock it.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to unlock Underwater Waypoint in Sumeru region.

Unlocking Underwater Waypoint

The location of this waypoint is on the left side of the Statue of the Seven in the Water area on the map. You need to head inside the area and go to the eastern side of the bank and you’ll see a block mechanism. Interact with it to lower the water level and a path will be revealed on your left side.

Go to your left side and you’ll enter an open area. Now, you’ll need to attack 4 Totems. 2 of them can be seen and the other 2 are hidden inside the rock with a yellow symbol for which you’ll need Dendrograna attacks. But first, you need to go into the small rooms with Totems and attack the Totems. After that defeat, a few enemies and then you’ll see a rock in the middle with a tree branch. You need to use the Dendro skill on it and the rock will rise revealing the Dendrograna. Get the Dendrograna and use it on the rock with the yellow symbol to reveal the Totem and then attack the third totem. Now go back to the rock and get Dendrograna again and shoot at the other rock with the symbol to make a path that will lead to the fourth Totem. Attack the Totem and a few Fungi enemies will spawn. Defeat the enemies and then you need to do one last thing.

You’ll see another Block mechanism, interact with the mechanism to lower the water and the waypoint will be revealed. Go to the waypoint and interact with it to activate the teleportation.
