Hello Neighbor 2: How to Solve the Cash Register Puzzle

Hello Neighbor 2 has various puzzles throughout the game and players will have to solve all of them to get the required items or keys to progress ahead in the game. One of the puzzles that players have to solve on the 2nd day of Investigation is opening the Cash Register.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to solve the Cash Register Puzzle in Hello Neighbor 2.

Cash Register Location

Players can only get to the Cash Register location on the second day of Exploration. To start the 2nd day, players will need to finish the first day of exploration by going in the basement of the Blue House. Players will come out of the basement at night and then make their way to the Museum to end the night. After that, players will wake up the next day and then have to make their way to Pretzel Shop in the Neighborhood.

Pretzel Shop will be on the right side down the main road from your house. You can recognize the shop by a big Pretzel board on top of the Bakery. Go inside the bakery and you will see the Cash Register on the left side of the counter.

Solving the Cash Register Puzzle

The Cash Register will be missing four buttons and in order to open the Cash Register, you will have to place all the missing buttons and enter the code of the Cash Register. The buttons are hidden in the Bakery and you will have to do several things to get all four buttons.

Missing Button #1

To get the first missing button #1, you will have to steal the Fridge Key from the Baker in the shop. To steal the key, you will have to go behind her and steal it from her pocket while she is not looking. After getting the key, go out of the bakery and there will be a window on the left side. Open the window and jump inside. You will find the fridge with a lock on it. Open the lock with the key and grab the Fish-Snack for the cat.

Go out of the window and go to the left side to the side door of the bakery. Open the Door and you will see the cat playing with the button. Place the Snack on the plate and the cat will start eating the snack. Grab Button #1 while the cat is eating a snack.

Missing Button #5

Go inside the window again where you found the Fridge and you will see a Red Valve in front when you jump in the window. Grab the Valve and go out of the window. Climb the ladder to the side to go to the roof. Equip the Crowbar from the inventory and throw it on the big window to break it. Go inside and go to the right side and into the door on the right. You will see a Red Geyser and you need to place the Red Valve on it and turn it to pour the hot water on the plant on the balcony. Now, go out to the balcony and use the Scissors to cut the plant in the middle and you will find the missing button #5.

Missing Button #7

Go to the first floor and go to Baker’s room on the right side. As you enter, look to the left at the wall and you will see Stitching on the Heart. Use the Scissors to cut open the stitches and you will find a Clock Needle. Now, you need to place the Clock Needle on the Wall Clock on the left side of the Washroom in Baker’s Room. Place the Needle and set the Time to 10:35. A small compartment will open from which you will get the missing Button #7.

Missing Button #6

Go inside the Bakery’s Kitchen when Baker is outside and you need to open the small cabinet in front to get the Fire Extinguisher. Now, open the freezer on the left side and pick up the Ice Cube that has a Key frozen inside. Throw the Ice Cube in the oven and you need to wait until it melts. Then use the Fire Extinguisher to take out the flames to get the key. If Baker comes inside while you are doing this, wait for her to take out the key from the oven and put it into the freezer and when she gets to the side, quickly run to the freezer and grab the key before it freezes again.

Now, go up to the first floor through the window and you will find a box on the table. Use the key to open the box and you will find the missing Button #6 inside the box.

After getting all the Missing Buttons, go to the Cash Register and place all of the missing buttons. Look to the right on the picture and you will see the code of the Cash Register. Enter the code “1576” to open the cash register and you will find a key inside.
