How to Unlock Blooming Puppy Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new update, Puppy Love, brings a ton of new cosmetics, items, decorative items, quests, and characters. The Puppy Love update also includes a new Star path, a seasonal pass through which players can earn several rewards. One of the most unique rewards in the new Paw-fect Romance Star Path is a Blooming Puppy Companion. How to Unlock Blooming Puppy Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Blooming Puppy Companion is one of the premium redeemable rewards in the Paw-fect Romance Star Path. Meaning, it can only be obtained from progressing in the new Star Path. Paw-fect Romance Star Path contains several rewards divided among 7 tiers, which can be redeemed using the Event Currency, which is the Pawprint Tokens. Fortunately, the very first tier of the Star Path includes the Blooming Puppy Companion reward, which can be redeemed for 70 Pawprint Tokens.

The Pawprint Tokens are earned by completing the daily duties of the Star Path. There are 3 daily duties that players can complete per day with the Regular Star Path. Completing each duty will reward players with 10 – 20 tokens. However, the players who have the Premium Star Path will have access to 6 daily duties, allowing them to farm the tokens quickly. In addition to the regular duties, there are also the Routine Duties. The Routine Duties include three weekly tasks for players to complete. Every Wednesday, a new set of weekly duties will unlock under the Routine Duties section. Completing the weekly duties will also reward you with the Pawprint Tokens.

Upon earning the event currency of the Star Path, go into the Star Path menu and select the ‘Rewards’ tab to redeem the Blooming Puppy Companion.

NOTE: “Now, keep in mind that, like many exclusive previous companions who were a part of the Star Paths, Blooming Puppy is also time-limited. Players can redeem it until the Star Path’s ending time, which is April 7, 2026.”

How to Equip the Blooming Puppy Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Equipping the Blooming Puppy Companion will require players to open the “Companions” category. It is under the Wardrobe tab. From there, select the Blooming Puppy to equip it. It will follow the players, and players can freely take pictures with it. Moreover, players can also house the companion in a Companion Home.
