Hogwarts Legacy: How to Rescue/Catch Magical Beasts

Apart from fighting the enemies and solving puzzles, players can also spend time with the Magical Beasts in the World. These Magical Beasts can be found all over the world map of Wizarding World in Hogwarts Legacy and players can also rescue/catch these magical beasts to get resources as well as earn Galleon Gold.

Rescuing/Catching Magical Beasts

There are a lot of different kinds of Magical Beasts that can be found in their respective areas all around the World Map. However, players will not encounter the Magical Beasts 10 hours into the game because it requires some items to encounter the beasts and to catch the beasts. The first time that players will get to meet the Magical Beasts is in the Beasts Class which is the main quest of the game. After this class, you will be able to Brush and Feed the Magical Beasts.

Now, in order to catch the Magical Beasts, you will have to get another item named “Nab Sack”. Nab Sack is a bag that is used to rescue/catch magical beasts in the wild. Players will get this bag in the main quest named “The Elf, The Nab Sack, and the Loom”. Players will get to go on an adventure with DEEK and he will give you the Nab Sack to rescue/catch different Magical Beasts.

If you have attended the Beasts Class then you will have the idea of how to use the items on beasts but if not then you need to follow the following steps.

• Once you have the Nab Sack item, you need to place it in one of the Slots of Spell Diamond.
• You can find the Nab Sack in the Spells menu. After setting the Nab Sack, you will have to press the respective button near a magical beast.
• The Nab Sack will pull the selected Magical Beast inside.

Nab Sack bag has a limit of 20 slots in the beginning. Meaning, you can catch 20 magical beasts at a time. You can upgrade the Nab Sack to increase the limit of slots to catch more Magical Beasts. After catching the beasts, you can place them in your Room of Requirement as well as you can sell them to earn Galleon Gold.
