One of the most anticipated games of the coming months is Diablo II Resurrected, the remastering (or remake, because I often change) of one of the great classics of Western RPG. The game will hit stores on September 23.
However, many players are already enjoying Diablo II Resurrected, as the open beta of the game is now available on PC. And this has led many to wonder if it is possible to change the points assigned in the skill tree.
And yes, of course, it is possible. Of course, you should know that this entails a reset and that for this you will have to follow a series of steps. In case you are not satisfied with how you have allocated experience points in Diablo 2 Resurrected, you have to know that there is a solution.
If you are enjoying the beta of this remastering of Diablo 2, but want to change your assignments, here is How to reset the statistics and skills in Diablo II Resurrected
How to reset stats and skills in Diablo II Resurrected
There are three ways to reset the stats and skills in Diablo II Resurrected … or rather, in its beta. As you level up, you will earn points to improve your characters … but it never rains to everyone’s liking.
You may regret how you assigned these points, so here we are going to show you the three ways in Diablo 2 Resurrected to change these assignments. Rather, how to reset them to remap the skill tree.
Talk to Akara
This is the player’s first chance to change stats and skills in Diablo II Resurrected. It is due to the character of Akara, which we find in the first act of the game, in the main city.
To access it, you only have to complete the first mission, and when you interact with it, the option to reset statistics and skills will appear.
Of course, important notice: Akara only offers one ” reset ” per level of difficulty, so keep this in mind when you speak to her for the first time.
Absolution tokens
In case you have already spoken with Akara, you should know that there is another way to reset your character’s skills and statistics. It consists of invoking an absolution token, although the process is somewhat complex.
To do this, you must get four different Essences and combine them in the Horadric Cube. The problem is that these 4 essences are the following: the twisted essence of suffering, the charged essence of hatred, the fiery essence of terror, and the purulent essence of destruction.
To achieve these four essences, there is only one way: defeat the act bosses in Diablo II Resurrected, which appear in the Infernal difficulty mode. As we say, it is not an affordable method for all players.
It is possible to summon an absolution token as many times as we want, and therefore change our statistics and skills. Of course, it will be necessary to defeat the aforementioned bosses and collect the essence.
Create a new character
You may have already done both of the above methods and are still not satisfied with your point allocation in Diablo II Resurrected. In this case, and although it sounds very drastic, perhaps the best thing is to do a ” reroll ‘ ‘.
Basically, this consists of creating a totally new character in the beta of the game, in order to redirect your path in the Blizzard RPG. Sometimes it is the best option, since playing with a character that does not represent us is not exactly comfortable.
