Images of the new trailer for Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 unleash this interesting theory

Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct brought us a number of new features, but without a doubt, the highlight was a spectacular trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. As usual in these cases, many fans have been scrutinizing every last detail to try and decipher any clues about the new game.
Today we bring you an example of this, as a social media user has shared several images of the trailer, and has noticed some very interesting details. Here is his message:
This image from the new Breath of the Wild 2 trailer shows us the southeastern part of the Hyrule Plateau on the surface of Hyrule. I noticed that the Zonnan pillars are missing from the rightmost hill in the image.
We may be looking at an ancient Hyrule.
Therefore, this would fit in perfectly with one of the theories that have been shared among fans that Link would be traveling back in time.
At the moment none of this has been confirmed and there are many aspects that remain a mystery. We’ll just have to be patient, but it will certainly be a long wait until next year, which is when this new installment of the franchise is scheduled to be released.
