In the footsteps of PlayStation 5: Microsoft patents Xbox controller recoil mechanics similar to DualSense

Corporation Microsoft has patented the Force-the Feedback the Trigger – new hammers recoil system controller the Xbox. Apparently, it will be similar to the one implemented in the DualSense controller for PlayStation 5 .

The patent describes how the Force-Feedback Trigger works. The triggers are said to provide measurable resistance to the user’s pulling in certain scenarios while playing. If the technology is similar to DualSense, then with the new controller, Xbox gamers will experience the unique recoil of each weapon in Halo and Gears, as well as stringing in Everwild, and more, for an extraordinary gameplay experience.

When Microsoft will turn the patent into a real consumer product, and whether it will, is unknown. But the patent is fresh.
