Modifying Weapons in Jagged Alliance 3 is not complicated but it is one of the simplest things to do in the game. To modify a weapon, follow these simple steps.

• Open the inventory by pressing the I Button (by default) while on the Strategic Map Screen or while playing the mission (not engaged in combat).
• Select any weapon of any Merc by Right Clicking on it.
• Select the Modify Option to bring up the Modification Menu.
• Select one of the Mods displayed on the bottom that can be installed on the weapon and then select the Modify option to install the Mod.
• Players can also change between the rest of the weapons by pressing P and N on the Keyboard to see their installable Mods.

Every installable mod will give a certain boost to the weapon whether it’s an increased range, more accuracy, less sound, etc. Applying Mod can allow players to handle certain situations effectively. As an example, if players want to do the mission in stealth and want to take out possible contacts before alerting the rest of the enemies. They can put on a suppressor on the weapon to take out the possible enemies to have a potentially increased chance of winning the fight.

Materials Used in Modification of Weapons in Jagged Alliance 3

Weapons modification in Jagged Alliance 3 is no different than the other action role-playing games out there. Players do require certain materials in the modification of the weapons in Jagged Alliance 3. The most common material used in modification is “Parts”. It will be used in any kind of modification of the Weapon alone or combined with other required materials. If players do not have enough number of Parts or other materials, they will not be able to modify the weapon.

The other materials that are used in the modification of the weapons in Jagged Alliance 3 are Chips, Lenses, and Steel Pipes. Chips are used in mods of barrels and reflex sights. Lenses are used in mods of Telescope Sights. Steel Pipes are used in mods of barrels.
