Jagged Alliance 3 – How to Get Parts

There are several materials that are crucial to the modification of the weapons in Jagged Alliance 3 and one of the main materials is Parts. Parts are used in every modification of the weapon. Whether it’s a simple iron sight enhancement or a big telescope sight on a rifle, Parts are mandatory.
In this guide, we’ll be telling you how to get Parts in Jagged Alliance 3.
How to Get Parts in Jagged Alliance 3
Parts can be obtained by two different methods in Jagged Alliance 3. The primary and recommended method is to find parts in the areas during the mission. As players can explore all the possible vicinity of the mission area, they must explore the area to find the chests known as Hidden Stashes. The stashes hold several supplies as well as materials including Parts, Lenses, Chips, and Steel Pipes. Every mission area has at least one stash hidden in a certain area that can be found easily by a Mechanic. Move the mechanic in a hidden stance to scout the area to find the stashes and then interact with the stash to loot it.
It was the primary way of getting the Parts. Another way to get parts is to Scrap the weapons and gear. If players are holding any old weapon that they don’t need or if they have gear that they don’t want to give to any other merc, they can choose to scrap them. Scraping any weapon or gear will turn them into Parts. To Scrap the weapon or gear, follow the following steps.
- Open the Inventory by pressing the I Button (by default).
- Select the weapon or gear by pressing the Right-Click.
- Select the Scrap option to get the mentioned number of Parts.

However, this second method is not recommended because every weapon or gear can be used later in the game or can be given to other mercs or militia but if players have a higher grade of weapons and gear then they can scrap away old weapons and gear for Parts.
