Location and how to get Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, and Enamorus in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

In this guide, we explain where to find and how to get Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus, and Enamorus in Pokémon Legends: Arceus for Nintendo Switch.

If you are playing Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the new installment of the popular Game Freak saga for Nintendo Switch, sooner or later you will have to go hunting for legendaries throughout the Hisui region.

And it is that after completing the story and seeing the credits there are still many things to do in the post-game. Among them is petition number 94, named The Avatars of Hisui and commissioned by the mysterious Metis.

This secondary mission invites us to catch three legendary Pokémon: Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus. However, to achieve this we must first find them… And that is easier said than done!

For this reason, we have prepared a guide with the location and how to get Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus. Let’s go there!

Location and how to catch Landorus

To find Landorus, head to Obsidian Meadow and look for Hansa Island at the bottom. You will soon see a kind of tornado that moves at full speed: it is Landorus! The music also changes to indicate that we are facing a legendary Pokémon.

Getting to engage in combat with these Pokémon is very difficult, as they can notice your presence from a greater distance and flee at great speed, in addition to attacking you with dangerous tornadoes.

The trick to doing this is to carry a load of Smoke Balls and items that hinder movement and expose Pokémon, such as Bonguris Pochos, Mud Balls, and Snow Balls.

Use the Smoke Balls to camouflage your presence and slowly get closer to Landorus. As soon as you have it in range, throw one of the mentioned objects at it. Normally, the Pokémon resists the effects and flees, so you will have to repeat the process several times until it is exposed.

Alternatively, and if you’re skillful, you can try to catch them from behind with a Pokémon from your team. If you succeed, the shield that protects Landorus will disappear and you will be able to cast a Homegrown Pokémon again to start the fight.

We recommend that you have it fixed (with ZL) because in this way you will see that the icon changes, indicating that you can engage in combat or throw a Poké Ball.

Location and how to catch Thundurus

Travel to the Cobalt Coast. For Thundurus to appear there is a small requirement: it must be raining. You can wait for it to happen naturally or sleep in a camp several times.

When it’s raining, hop on Basculegion and head to the Sand Hand, right where the two giant pillars meet, and it won’t take long to see a whirlpool moving at full speed over the waters. It’s Thundurus!

As in the case of Landorus, engaging in combat is an arduous process, so be well equipped with Smoky Balls, Bonguris Pochos, Mud Balls… And don’t lose patience!

Follow the same advice that we have given you with Landorus and sooner or later you will be able to catch Thundurus .

Location and how to catch Tornadus

Let’s go for the third avatar of Hisui, Tornadus. This time, travel to the Tundra Alba. For the Pokémon to appear, a requirement must be met: it must be snowing. So you know, wait for it to happen naturally or rest in a camp.

When snowflakes fall, head to Algent Wasteland and you’ll soon see Tornadus. Trouble? He is accompanied by more Pokémon, including a dangerous Alpha Glalie. We recommend that you defeat these Pokémon before trying to capture Tornadus, otherwise they will join the fight and make things even more difficult for you.

For the rest, follow the same advice that we have given you with Landorus and Thundurus (Smoke Balls, Mud Balls, etc.) and you will be able to catch Tornadus.

And that’s it! Or not? The next part of the Hisui’s Avatars petition invites us to complete his Pokédex entry; you can easily do this by battling each of the Pokémon and using their signature move (Sand Simoon, Electormint, and Frost Gale) in quick style a few times.

Upon reaching rank 10 and unlocking the Pokédex entry for all three, head to the Hidden Ancient Village to speak with Metis. There, he will reveal to you that there is the fourth avatar of Hisui: Enamorus .

Location and how to catch Enamorus

Once Metis has freed Enamorus, travel to the Crimson Swamp. You can find Hisui’s fourth avatar in the Vermilion Marsh.

You already know what you have to do: Bolas Humareda, Bonguris Pochos, and patience, a lot of patience. We recommend that you do it during the day because at night the area is infested with Ghastlys that are going to complicate things excessively.

Do it and you will manage to catch Enamorus, the new fairy/flying type avatar.

To finish completing the quest you need to register Enamorus’ Pokédex entry, so use his Quick-style Drain Kiss move a few times to reach rank 10.

When you’ve done that, head back to Metis’ house to complete the quest. He will give you the True Mirror, an item that allows you to change the shape of Hisui’s avatars.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
