Marvel's Avengers could incorporate skins from the MCU movies, according to its own creators

Marvel’s Avengers didn’t start the way Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics hoped. The first few months after the launch of the project was characterized by the absence of major content updates, which entailed large financial losses for the publisher and a rapid churn of players.

However, if, in the case of the same Anthem, an unsuccessful launch led to the closure of the project, then the developers of Marvel’s Avengers, on the contrary, are ready to continue to invest in the game in an attempt to breathe new life into it.

As part of a recent Twitch stream, Crystal Dynamics announced that they are committed to the future of the Avengers and are not going to end support for the game in the coming years. The studio is currently working on a number of things that they can’t wait to share with fans.

At the same time, next week, “The Avengers” will receive a new major update which will not only add Hawkeye as a playable character, but also offer several other innovations, including balancing the progression, introducing custom H.A.R.M challenge rooms, and the ability to replay the campaign with preservation of the accumulated experience and loot. The update will arrive on March 18th alongside the release of the improved version of Marvel’s Avengers for Xbox Series X / S and PlayStation 5.

In addition, Spider-Man is set to appear in the game soon, becoming the first (and seemingly only) exclusive Marvel’s Avengers character for PlayStation consoles.
