New details of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 – there are new monsters in the trailer, but no one noticed them

GSC Game World’s PR manager, Zakhar Bocharov, revealed a bit more details about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl. In particular, he revealed that “there are new monsters in the game’s first trailer that no one has noticed”.

We don’t know who exactly is in question, but Zakhar Bocharov’s words are sure to intrigue fans of the series.

Many are also wondering if the gameplay shown in the trailer at E3 2021 was real. According to the GSC PR manager, it was the gameplay that was “very close to what will be in the game”.

As for why the gameplay trailer premiere decided to go with the Russian voice-over, Zakhar Bocharov explains it by the fact that the lip-sync (synchronization of lip-syncing with audio) was recorded for “Russian speech”. He said that the team reviewed several iterations of the clip together with Microsoft, but in the end, it was decided that this would be more atmospheric. In addition, he reiterated that the release version of the game will have three localizations, including Russian, Ukrainian, and English (text and voice-over).

Zakhar Bocharov also touched upon the character on the roof of the trailer, which caused a wave of memes in the network, where he is compared with Robert Pattinson, then with Leon Kennedy from the Resident Evil series. He said that when people realize the full extent of the scene, they’ll be in for a thrill similar to the one they felt on the beach in Death Stranding.

The PR manager assured that in the year and a half that he has been with the team, he has not seen anything cut from the game. The open-world, he said, will have an area of 64 sq. km. with the ability to move quickly in an “unconventional way”. Plus, it will feature old locations from previous installments as well as new ones.

Recall, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be released on April 28, 2022, on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The developers have already revealed the game’s system requirements
