Nintendo Explains the Logo of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

With the recent release of Masterworks, Art Book of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, we come to know that the game was originally meant to be named Tears of the Dragon, but was changed to ‘Kingdom’ due to major spoilers hint, and much more.

In addition to all the information, Satoru Takizawa, the art director at Nintendo EPD explained the official logo of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In the logo of the game, we can see an ouroboros consisting of two dragons chasing each other’s tails. Takizawa explained the logo in the book with the following statement.

It was designed to represent several things at once, such as the white dragon and the black dragon, and at the same time the ouroboros, which is a symbol of immortality and eternity.

This was shared by Zelda Lore on X/Twitter who has been sharing several insights and reveals of the Zelda: TOTK artbook.
