The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – How to Fix Lizalfos Tails or Butterflies Not Appearing Issue
The new Patch 1.2.0 fixes a lot of bugs in Tears of the Kingdom but players are now experiencing new bugs related to materials in the game. One of the materials that players are finding difficult to get is Lizalfos Tails and Butterflies because it seems they are spawning or appearing in the game. Several posts have been regarding this issue and players are trying to solve the issue on their own.
If you are one of those players who are facing difficulty in finding the Lizalfos Tails or Butterflies then we are here to help you with this guide. We’ll be telling you how you can fix this issue to get back to farming Lizalfos Tails or Butterflies in Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Fix Lizalfos Tails or Butterflies Not Appearing Issue
Normally the materials or source of the materials respawn after some time in the game either by playing the game for a few hours or passing the time by resting or sleeping. However, the case with Lizalfos Tails or Butterflies is that they don’t reappear or spawn in the locations where players have already farmed them. To fix this issue, players can follow the following steps.
- Save the game by opening the menu.
- FULLY Close the game/application.
- Re-open the Game.
This is by far the best solution to this issue because spending hours in-game or sleeping in-game will not solve this issue as the creatures and butterflies get bugged once they are defeated. To reappear them, players will have to save and fully close the game. Saving is crucial because you don’t want to lose the progress or materials that you gathered in your playtime.
As Lizalfos Tails, Butterflies, and Dragonflies are used in upgrading several Armor Sets, it is best to hold on to them and gather more by following the solution to this issue and once you have the required amount of materials, you can get back to upgrading the Armor Sets.
