Pikmin 4 – How to Build Structures

Want to know how to get past a broken bridge or access a distant area then you are at the right place. There are various places in Pikmin 4 that players will have to visit to find missing officers or to find treasures to extract Sparklium from them. However, some places might be unreachable due to broken bridges or structures. To get past these structures, players will have to build their own structures.

In this guide, we’ll be telling you how to build the structures in Pikmin 4.

How to Build Structures in Pikmin 4

To build structures in Pikmin 4, there are two requirements that players need to fulfill before learning the process of building the structures.

• Find Raw Materials
• Find Russ (A Scientist)

Raw Materials are very easy to get in Pikmin 4 as they are the white shiny stones found all over the areas. There are piles of White Stones that players can find easily by exploring the areas. To get the Raw Materials, players only have to order Pikmin or Pup to drag it to S.S. Beagle to store it. Each White Stone will require 1 Pikmin so, it is pretty easy to get. The first time when players collect a resource, a menu will pop up on the screen highlighting that the Raw Materials can be turned into Clay.

However, in order to fulfill the process, players will be needing assistance from a Scientist named Russ. Russ has gone missing as well and players will have to find Russ in order to learn how to build the structures. Check out the following link to find Russ in Pikmin 4. Once players have found Russ, they need to end the exploration by ending the day, and on the very next day, they will be given a tutorial on building the structures.

Players can build the structures using Clay that is get from the White Stones/Raw Materials. Make sure to store some Raw Materials in the S.S. Beagle before building the structure because each stone will cost 1 Clay. Upon finding a broken structure or a bridge, players need to lock the target on the structure and send Pikmins on it. Pikmins will get Clay from S.S. Beagle and start building the structure, allowing players to get past the structure.

Some of the structures require many Raw Materials so, make sure to get every resource you can find in the area. As Raw Materials are also useful in getting New Gear and Items for the character.
