Players can get the Gear and Items by visiting The Lab. The Lab is run by Russ who is the Scientist in Rescue Corps group. Russ will make various handmade components which are Gear and Items that he will sell to the main character in exchange for Raw Materials. To Buy the Gear and Items, players can follow the following steps.

• Talk to Russ near the S.S. Shepherd.
• Select the “Visit The Lab” option to view the Gear and Items.
• Browse the Items in both of the Tabs and change the tabs by pressing the L and R Buttons.
• Select the item and confirm the purchase by selecting the “OK” option.

Russ can also run out of the components on random days and when that happens, players will have to wait for the next day after he has restocked the components.

How to Unlock The Lab in Pikmin 4

Before players can buy the Gear and Items from The Lab, players will have to unlock it. To unlock the Lab of Russ, players will have to find Russ.
