Pikmin 4 – How to Get Sparklium

Sparklium is the main resource in Pikmin 4 that players will have to get to fix the S.S. Shepherd as well as fly around the planet to find the missing officers of the Rescue Corps. Players will start on a mysterious planet where players will find and face numerous creatures. There are also friendly creatures known as Pikmin and they are of various kinds, helping players at different times throughout the whole game. One of the main early missions of the game would require players to gather Sparklium which works as an Energy for S.S. Shepherd.

How to Get Sparklium in Pikmin 4

Sparklium can be found in treasures spread across the different areas of the planet that players will get to visit throughout the whole game. The treasures are the shining items and they can be identified from a fair distance. The shininess on the items gives them away and players will have to transfer the treasures into the S.S. Beagle which is a machine that extracts Sparklium from treasures. The S.S. Beagle stays near players in any area they visit so if they happen to find any treasure, the S.S. Beagle will extract Sparklium from the treasure at the spot.

Now, to get the Treasures, players will be needing assistance to transfer them to S.S. Beagle. Players will have to get help from Pikmin Creatures and players will find hundreds of them in various areas. To order Pikmins to drag the treasure to S.S. Beagle, players will have to throw them at the location of a treasure. When players find a treasure, they need to lock on the treasure and then press the A Button repeatedly to throw the required number of Pikmins at the treasure.

The Pikmins will gradually take the treasure to S.S. Beagle and it will extract Sparklium from it. At the start, players would be needing 300 SParklium to restart the S.S. Shepherd, and after that, 1500 Sparklium to use the engines of the S.S. Shepherd to fly around the planet. Treasures can be found in the open area as well as inside the Caves/Holes which are different Sub-levels of the game. A lot of treasures can be found in the Sub-levels so, it is important to check them out and explore them completely to find every treasure possible.

In the Demo, once players have collected 1500 Sparklium, the Demo will end but in the full game, players will have to gather as much Sparklium as they can throughout the whole game.
